If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great globe it would be. Best Western Burley Inn & Convention Center is a brilliant spot to get some rest. Through the summertime, highs usually are in the 80's at Lower Goose Creek Reservoir with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Lower Goose       Creek Reservoir overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Lower Goose Creek Reservoir called the California Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Snake River offers some delightful whitewater. Not much rain falls here at Lower Goose Creek Reservoir; the wettest month of the year is regularly November, that's the one that rains the most,                  and July is when it's the driest. Stay the night at Father and Sons Campground, and an interesting thing to have a look at right next door to Lower Goose Creek Reservoir is Oakley Dam. Lower Goose Creek Reservoir is a splendid site to camp, Bostetter Campground is a splendid site, and going for a hike on the Rangers Trail is always a nice adventure.
