    The beauty of Low Pass Lake is reason enough to stop by. Be careful coming to Low Pass Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. Going for a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Low Pass Lake has to offer, you can camp at Alturas Inlet Campground. An average amount of rain falls at Low Pass Lake; the month with most of the snow is January, and July on the  
   other hand is the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Sawtooth Range.
This lake is so wonderful. Benedict Lake is a splendid lake in the neighborhood of Low Pass Lake; unsurprisingly Timpa Creek flows through this area. At Low Pass Lake through the warm months highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. During the winter highs are commonly in the 30's while Low Pass Lake nighttime low temperatures
 
               through the winter are in the 10's. All year is a wonderful time in the Sawtooth Range if you go for the outdoors. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River, and Low Pass Lake is a good place to camp, Powerplant Campground is a good place.
Take a hike on the Bull Moose Trail; you acquire a great sight of Plummer Peak from here. The Sawtooth Range scenery is always beautiful. Hiking along the Yuba River Trail is great fun, and the snow is wonderful at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort.
