The Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Lochsa River. Louse Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; January is when you get the most snow here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Louse Lake during the summer months are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures       drop down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows at Louse Lake all through the winter regularly descend into the 20's. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Louse Lake. There are other spots here than Louse Lake, for example Chimney Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Fog Mountain Campground is a wonderful place to camp. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Clearwater Mountains, too great to be true.                  Why not take a refreshing hike along the Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail; Gedney Creek Campground is a pleasant campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Louse Lake; East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail is a splendid local trail, and you need to stop at Flea Ridge Point since you're here.
