Louie Lake is a nice lake to visit. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Louie Lake has to offer, you can camp at Paddy Flat Campground; you have to positively dedicate some time to Jug Meadows while you're here at Louie Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains. The amount of rainfall that falls at Louie Lake is close to the national average; January is the month that gets the most snow while July is usually the driest month.

| | If only every place had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great world it would be. A lake close by is Boulder Lake, and the scenery at Louie Lake Dam is wonderful. All year is a good time in the Salmon River Mountains if you go for the outdoors. There is a great hiking trail near Louie Lake called the Boulder Lake Trail, and Jughandle Mountain is easy to spot from Louie Lake. So many entertaining things to do here in the Salmon River Mountains, too | |

tremendous to be true. Louie Lake is a tremendous spot to camp, Lake Fork Campground is a tremendous spot; AmericInn McCall is a glorious place to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. The Louie Lake Trail is a magnificent
hiking trail close to Louie Lake, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Payette River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. At Louie Lake throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures
fall down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Louie Lake.
Going for a hike on the Boulder Driveway Trail is always a nice adventure, and if you need a place to stay Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a great choice.
