For the period of the warm days of summer at Lost Packer Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's; the nighttime is quite colder of course, frequently in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lost Packer Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. Just can't get enough of Lost Packer Lake. Base Camp Campground       is a great campground here. Stay the night at Elkhorn Bar Campground; paddling on Big Creek is so much fun. Lost Packer Lake is a good spot of common rainfall; most of the snow falls through January, and the driest of the months is July. The Clearwater Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Monumental Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Stoddard Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Do set aside                  some time for Lost Packer Meadows while you're here at Lost Packer Lake, and do take a hike on the Coyote Springs Trail. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Clearwater Mountains.
