    In Idaho there are many beautiful lakes, Lost Lakes is one of them. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Salmon River Mountains is unbeatable! Payette River - South Fork is a splendid whitewater spot near Lost Lakes, and you can hit the slopes at Brundage Mountain around here. There are other spots here than Lost Lakes, for example Red Mountain Lakes; the Whitehawk Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon  
   River Mountains.
Summertime at Lost Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lost Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Tennessee Creek Campground since you're here at Lost Lakes, and at Lost Lakes you can spot Red Mountain. You definitely should love Lost
 
               Lakes. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bear Valley Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lost Lakes; Kirkham Ridge Trail is a delightful local trail.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Salmon River Mountains has to offer. A nice spot to camp here at Lost Lakes is Sack Creek Campground, and Lost Lakes is right by the Deadwood River Trail. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Lost Lakes; during January this area sees the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
