Lost Lake is a beautiful lake in the Clearwater Mountains. Don't leave Lost Lake without first going for a hike along the Reed Bar Trail, and why not camp at Sourdough Saddle Campground since you're here at Lost Lake. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lost Lake with nighttime lows in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lost Lake. Lost Lake       is pretty dried out mostly; most of the rain falls during May, and February is the month with the least moisture. Man, is there a lot of cool things to do in the Clearwater Mountains. Twentymile Butte is pretty and can be spotted from Lost Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Clearwater River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful.
