You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lost Lake has to offer, you can camp at Idaho Country Resort, and there are good sites to look at along the Upper North Fork Grouse Creek Trail. meet some people from Coeur d'Alene here. Through the summer at Lost Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are regularly in the 20's, and during the
dark hours in the winter at Lost Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. Near Lost Lake you find the White Mountain Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and the slopes of Schweitzer are so inviting nobody can resist.
