If you come at the right time of year, Pack River offers some delightful whitewater; it's a pleasant idea to stop by Gold Creek. The warmest time of the year at Lost Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. during the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lost Lake is right by the Upper North Fork Grouse Creek Trail, and a tremendous close by hotel is Days Inn Sandpoint. A normal amount of precipitation falls here
at Lost Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month of the year is July.
