During the months of summer at Long Tom Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and the nighttime is a little chillier of course, usually in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at       Long Tom Reservoir dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little spree to Long Tom Dam while you're here at Long Tom Reservoir, and paddling on Boise River - South Fork is so much fun. Long Tom Reservoir gets very little precipitation; through the month of November you get the most rain around here while July is ordinarily the driest month. Pole Creek is a tremendous place to take a look at, and a lake                  nearby is Keith Reservoir. Be careful coming to Long Tom Reservoir, you might not ever want to return back home again.
