Long Pool is a lake worth visiting. All through the summertime months at Long Pool highs are usually in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Long Pool dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Yeah, come here to Long Pool for a nice time. Ash Creek flows through this vicinity, and you can go for a hike on the Rock City Pond Peak Trail. A pleasant

Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Coeur d'Alene River; a day on the slopes of Silver Mountain is just what you need. Long Pool has to offer, you can camp at Big Hank Campground, and there's glorious hiking along the Coeur d'Alene River National Recreation Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Long Pool gets a typical amount of annual precipitation;
through December this area sees the most snow; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Mountain View Cabins is a tremendous choice. There's so much to do here at Long Pool that
you need to camp here for a while, Devils Elbow Campground is a magnificent place for that.
Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Bitterroot Range. Get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork, and Big Pool is a good lake close by.
