At Long Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July. Be careful coming to Long Lake, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Don't leave Long Lake without first going for a hike along the Cedar Tree Trail; not       far from Long Lake you'll stumble on Twin Lakes which is a stunning lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Bruneau River - West Fork; Long Lake is a location with many visitors from Mountain Home. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Long Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. All through the winter the highs                  are ordinarily in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Long Lake plunge into the 20's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Long Lake; Tindall Trail is a great local trail. Lakes?
