What a location this is for outdoors people. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Wood River, and Lone Rock Reservoir is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Bridge Campground is a delightful local campground. For the duration of the summertime at Lone Rock Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. For the       duration of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Lone Rock Reservoir dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Marsh Spring is a magnificent local attraction, and dry warm beds await you at Shoshone Inn. It is very dry here at Lone Rock Reservoir typically; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and August is the month with the least moisture. If you need a place to stay                  High Country Motel is a good choice; if you get bored of Lone Rock Reservoir you could also go to close by Flat Tire Reservoir. Little Wood River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by.
