    It's always fun to stop by Lone Lakes. High temperatures at Lone Lakes during the days of summer are in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Lone Lakes dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Going for a hike along the Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; East Peak can be spotted from Lone Lakes. So  
   much amusing stuff to do in the Clearwater Mountains, not enough time. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lone Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Race Creek Campground, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Green Flat Campground, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Lochsa River. If you're here at Lone Lakes, you could go to
 
               Lone Creek, and paddling on Fish Creek is so much fun. The yearly rainfall here at Lone Lakes is about average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; the driest month of the year is July.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If the weather is pleasant here at Lone Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail, and Lone Lakes is not the only place nearby, Crystal Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Clearwater Mountains. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Clearwater Mountains.
