     The beauty of Lone Lake attracts many people from all around. Summer at Lone Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lone Lake dip into the 10's. If you adore the outdoors, you'll like Lone Lake. Hit the slopes at Lookout Pass in the vicinity, and a great site to camp here  
   at Lone Lake is Squaw Creek Campground. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Bitterroot Range has to offer. The vista of Champion Point from Lone Lake is beautiful, and get soaked paddling on St. Joe River - Skookum Canyon.
Lone Lake is a good place of common rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; the driest of the months is July. Having a great time in the Bitterroot Range is trouble-free. Lookout
 
               Pass is a very popular ski area close by, and let's not forget East Fork Willow Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Kellogg is a brilliant choice; great water scenery is available at Lucky Friday Number Three Dam near Lone Lake.
Nearby lakes? Sure, Lower Stevens Lake is near Lone Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Wonderful Trail. Lone Lake is located in the Bitterroot Range. Lone Lake is right by the Arid Ridge Trail, and paddling on St. Joe River - North Fork is so much fun.
While staying at Lone Lake you could always explore Gold Hunter Gulch, and if you've had enough of Lone Lake, Upper Stevens Lake is nearby. So many fun things to do here at Lone Lake, too good to be true. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Kyle Creek Trail is brilliant fun; camping is available at Swiftwater Motel & Rv Park.
