It's always fun to stop by Logan Lake. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Logan Lake has it all. You can run the rapids of Salmon River - East Fork of South Fork next to Logan Lake; at Logan Lake you can spot Logan Mountain. From a precipitation point of view Logan Lake is a relatively typical place; January is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest month is July. Logan Lake is not the only place nearby, Middle Lake is a nearby lake,

| | and going for a hike on the Parks Peak Trail is always a good adventure.
Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Johnson Creek is a fine whitewater spot in the vicinity of Logan Lake. And if that's not enough there's lots more cool things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. There's so much to do here at Logan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Yellow Pine Campground | |

is a great place for that, and the Center Mountain Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Brundage Mountain, and obviously Belvidere Creek flows through this neighborhood.
For
the period of the months of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Logan Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Logan
Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Logan Lake has to offer, you can camp at Golden Gate Campground, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Big Chief Creek Trail.
