In Idaho there are many beautiful lakes, Lloyds Lake is one of them. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do near Lloyds Lake. If you came to camp Grouse Campground is a magnificent place to do that, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Broken Leg Trail. Lloyds Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Hazard Creek, and

| | going for a hike on the Crestline Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
That right there is a lot of exciting things already but it goes on, the Salmon River Mountains has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Salmon River Motel. For the period of the days of summer at Lloyds Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's | |

with temperatures at Lloyds Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. After a long day outdoors Chair Point Look Out is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Lava
Butte Trail.
Be careful coming to the Salmon River Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Take a little spree to Clayburn Creek while you're here at Lloyds Lake. Lakes? Sure, Hard Creek Lake is nearby. Lloyds
Lake is a location that is relatively arid ordinarily; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is July. If you come at the right time of year, Hard Creek offers some delightful whitewater. There's
so much to do here at Lloyds Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hazard Campground is a tremendous place for that.
