And that's not everything there is to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Grass Mountain Lakes is a nearby lake that you could explore; great hiking is available along the Broken Leg Trail. Lloyds Lake is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Hazard Campground is a nice site to camp nearby, and dry warm beds await you at AmericInn McCall. So much cool stuff in the Salmon River Mountains,       just mind-boggling. If you're here at Lloyds Lake, you could take a look at Clayburn Creek; whitewater paddling is great on Hard Creek. This lake is so wonderful. At Lloyds Lake you don’t see much rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here while July is typically the driest month. What a spot this is for outdoors people. Stay the night at Grouse Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Lava Butte Trail. Whitetail Club and Resort is a tremendous                  place to get some rest, and get covered with water paddling on Hazard Creek. Lloyds Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains. Summertime highs at Lloyds Lake typically tend to be in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Lloyds Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
