If you're here, you might as well go to Jesse Pass, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail. Race Track Campground is a tremendous local campground, and Lochsa River is a great whitewater spot nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Clearwater Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Race Creek Campground is a magnificent place       to camp; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lochsa River. This lake is so wonderful. The Crags is a peak you can see from Lloyd Lake; the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Lloyd Lake is one of the lakes here in the Clearwater Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff right next door to Lloyd Lake. Going for a hike on the Anderson Butte National Recreation                  Trail is always a good adventure. An average amount of rainfall falls at Lloyd Lake; all through January this area sees the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lloyd Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
