If you are in Idaho county it's always a good idea to stop by Lizard Lakes. This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. Lakes are good; East Peak Lake is a lake that's near Lizard Lakes; the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best. Lochsa River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and a pleasant spree to Three Links Meadows is a fine way to spend an afternoon.

| | January is the wettest month with most snow; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Cedar Flats Campground is a splendid campground here, and if you need a place to stay Red River Corral & Cabins is a pleasant choice. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bitterroot Range. Paddling on Moose Creek is so much fun, and Lizard Lakes is right by the Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail.

do close to Lizard Lakes. If you came for an overnight stay Green Flat Campground is a great location to camp, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail. But wait, there's more cool stuff
to do in the Bitterroot Range. From Lizard Lakes you obtain a delightful sight of East Peak, and Lone Creek is near Lizard Lakes and is always a joy to stop by. All through the months of summer here at Lizard Lakes, high temperatures
ordinarily reach the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lizard Lakes are in the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful.
