     At Lizard Lake you can see Henderson Peak, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Driggs is a delightful choice. Go for a hike on the Carlton Cutoff Trail; getting to Government Fork from Lizard Lake is easy. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Get covered with water paddling on Pine Creek, and don’t forget to take a look at Horse Heaven while you're here at Lizard Lake.
Blind Canyon is a wonderful site to visit close by; get yourself
 
   into a kayak and hit Teton Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Teton Mountain View Lodge; hiking is a popular thing to do around Lizard Lake; DeCoster Trail is a perfect local trail. Camping is available at Pine Creek Campground, and a lake close by is Castle Lake.
Lizard Lake is pretty dried out regularly; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is March.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Teton Valley Campground is a perfect place to camp, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Grand Targhee. You absolutely ought to go for Lizard Lake. Alligator Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; great hiking is available along the De Coster Trail.

Lower Palisades Lake was formed when a giant landslide came down the canyon and dammed the creek. Palisades Canyon is thickly forested with fir, aspen and willow.
