Why not camp at Teton Valley Campground if you're here at Lizard Lake, and do have a look at Government Fork while you're here at Lizard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Alligator Lake is near Lizard Lake, and of course, A journey to Blind Canyon is always fun. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Grand Targhee is in the neighborhood of Lizard Lake, and after a long day outdoors Super       8 Motel - Driggs is a nice location to spend a night or two. Henderson Peak can be distinguished from Lizard Lake, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Teton Creek. A tremendous nearby hotel is Teton Mountain View Lodge, and there is a wonderful                  hiking trail nearby called the De Coster Trail. Pine Creek is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Lizard Lake; going for a hike on the DeCoster Trail is always a perfect adventure. A nice spot like Horse Heaven here at Lizard Lake is too fine to miss, and the Carlton Cutoff Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. Lizard Lake is pretty arid commonly; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is March. You're perhaps into lakes, Castle Lake is one of those nearby, and a glorious place to camp here at Lizard Lake is Pine Creek Campground. High temperatures at Lizard Lake through the days of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's.
