What would winter be without some skiing at Schweitzer, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Green Mountain Trail. A lake nearby is Beaver Lake, and going for a hike on the Upper Declaration Trail is always a fine adventure. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful spot to camp here at Livermore Lake is Trestle Creek RV Park, and paddling on Pack       River is so much fun. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Livermore Lake. A wonderful close by hotel is Best Western Edgewater Resort, and nearby you stumble on the Shertz Trail which is a nice hiking trail. Inn At Sand Creek is a magnificent spot to get some rest; Livermore Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Idaho Country Resort is a good local campground. A typical amount of rain falls here at Livermore Lake;                  November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Livermore Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Livermore Lake.
