It's always fun to stop by Little Summit Lake. So many fun things to do at Little Summit Lake, so little time. At Little Summit Lake you can observe Squaw Point. There's so much to do here at Little Summit Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Payette Campground is a brilliant place for that. Little Summit Lake is pretty dry regularly; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July. Dry warm beds await you at AmericInn McCall;

For the duration of the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 90's at Little Summit Lake while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Little Summit Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. looking for some flowing water? Try Cloochman Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains.
Just can't get enough of the Salmon River Mountains. The Fall Creek Trail offers hiking at its best;
you can run the rapids of Payette River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Western Mountain Lodge is a fine site to spend a night or two; if you came to camp Upper Payette
Lake Campground is a perfect place to do that.
And if that's not enough there's plenty more enjoyable stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. You might want to pay a visit to Cloochman Saddle while you're here at Little Summit
Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Summit Lake; Box Lake Trail is a brilliant local trail.
