All year is a good time in the Sawtooth Range if you fancy the outdoors. At Little Spangle Lake you can make out Glens Peak, and there's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline kick people. You can never get enough       of the pleasant skiing at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort; camping at Little Spangle Lake is good fun, Alturas Inlet Campground is a good local campground. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bull Moose Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Powerplant Campground is a tremendous location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Flytrip Creek flows through this area, and you have to without doubt dedicate some time to Tenlake Basin if you're here at Little Spangle                  Lake.
