Little Sheepeater Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Rhett Creek Campground is a good local campground, and the vista of lovely Little Sheepeater Point is fine. Some nearby water includes Hen Creek; Brundage Mountain has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff. Yeah, come up here to the Salmon River Mountains for a brilliant time. Why       not take a refreshing hike along the Three Blaze Trail, and Salmon River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. All through the long summer days highs here at Little Sheepeater Lake get into the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and night lows at Little Sheepeater Lake during the wintertime typically drop into the 0's. Little Sheepeater Lake is a                  beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains. Be careful coming to the Salmon River Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. A tremendous spot to camp here at Little Sheepeater Lake is Mackay Bar Campground; paddling on Salmon River - South Fork is so much fun. Be careful coming to Little Sheepeater Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. Hiking along the Center Mountain Trail is brilliant fun; do take a look at Lemhi Lake, it's a picturesque lake.
