This lake is so wonderful.
So much amusing stuff in the Salmon River Mountains, just phenomenal. Why not visit nearby Hen Creek if you're here at Little Sheepeater Lake, and on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Chamberlain Trail. And that's not
all there is to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. There is a magnificent hiking trail right next door to Little Sheepeater Lake called the Center Mountain Trail; since you're here you can take a hike along the Three Blaze Trail.
An average amount of rain falls at Little Sheepeater Lake; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that snows the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
