A good nearby hotel is Schweitzer Mountain Resort; La Quinta Inn Sandpoint is a glorious site to get some rest. Get drenched paddling on Priest River, and if you're here you can take a hike along the White Mountain Trail. You just can't picture the       amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area near Little Lake has to offer. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Pack River; Little Lake is a delightful location to visit for more than one day, Fox Farm RV Resort is a delightful location to camp nearby. The amount of precipitation that falls at Little Lake is close to the national average; December is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes                  of Schweitzer are so inviting noone can resist; you can stay the night at Spring Point Campground. You have to check out Mallard Bay when you're here at Little Lake; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Little Lake highs are typically in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Little Lake.
