Why not stop by Limber Lake if you're passing through these parts. It's a good idea to check out Drop Creek, it's right next door to Limber Lake; in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River. Summertime highs at Limber Lake generally tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Having a good time in the Sawtooth Range is easy. Near Limber Lake
you come across the Bull Moose Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; Cony Peak is clearly visible from Limber Lake. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Limber Lake; January is the month that gets the most snow, and
July is the month with the least moisture. Going for a hike on the Yellow Belly Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and there are other places here than Limber Lake, for example Blue Rock Lake.
