High temperatures at Lily Pond through the summer are in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 40's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lily Pond temperatures drop to the 0's. Take a hike on the Boundary Creek Trail, and Island Park Village Resort is a brilliant place to get some rest. Lily Pond is a good location       of normal rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Henrys Fork, and close by you discover Survey Draw which is a pleasant place to stop at. Partridge Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. If only every site had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great                  globe it would be. Lily Pond is right by the Rock Creek Pack Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Anglers Lodge. A splendid location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Lily Pond is Warm River, and camping is available at Buffalo Campground.
