Lily Pad Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Wallowa Mountains rules! While you're here at Lily Pad Lake you can take a hike along the Deep Creek Trail, and a great close by hotel is Western Mountain Lodge. Lily Pad Lake is generally a rather dried out site; May is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Windy Saddle Campground if you're here at Lily Pad Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Salmon River. This lake is located in the wonderful Wallowa Mountains.
For the period of the summer at Lily Pad Lake temperatures are commonly in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and night lows at Lily
Pad Lake through the wintertime commonly drop into the 20's. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Lily Pad Lake. Devils Tooth can be seen from Lily Pad Lake; hiking along the Heavens Gate Trail is splendid fun.
