If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lily Pad Lake. Lily Pad Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wallowa Mountains. Whitetail Club and Resort is a great place to get some rest; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Salmon River. During the long summer days highs here at Lily Pad Lake get into the 90's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the

| | 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lily Pad Lake. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Wallowa Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Windy Saddle Campground is a brilliant site to camp, and there are other spots here than Lily Pad Lake, for example Shelf Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Devils Tooth is easily distinguished from Lily Pad Lake, and do take a hike on the Old Boise Trail. | |

Man, is there heaps of amusing stuff to do close to Lily Pad Lake. Camping is available at Seven Devils Campground; not far from Lily Pad Lake you'll locate Basin Lake which is a beautiful lake. A great close by hotel is Best Western
Salmon Rapids Lodge, and Lily Pad Lake is right by the Heavens Gate Trail. So much amusing stuff to do in the Wallowa Mountains, not enough time. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Deep Creek Trail, and if you come at the right
time of year, Snake River offers some delightful whitewater. It is very arid here at Lily Pad Lake mostly; most of the rain falls throughout May while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
