Lily Lake is a location that is relatively dried out frequently; most of the snow falls through December, and the driest of the months is July. Lakes are such calm places, why not have a look at Saddleback Lakes near Lily Lake; you can stay the night at Point Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Grand Mogul       is painless to spot from Lily Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Salmon River offers some great whitewater. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Salmon River, and Greyhawk by ResortQuest is a splendid spot to get some rest. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sawtooth Range. Take a hike on the Yellow Belly Trail; you'll stumble on                  a beautiful lake called Little Baron Lake. During the warm months highs here at Lily Lake reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 30's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Lily Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. Lily Lake is right by the Bull Moose Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lily Lake has to offer, you can camp at Heyburn Mountain Campground.
