Leo Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Leo Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bitterroot Range. Having a splendid time in the Bitterroot Range is easy. Camping at Wendover Campground is always a wonderful experience; if the weather is pretty, you acquire a brilliant panorama of Shale Mountain from Leo Lake. But wait, there's more fun stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. Paddling on Clark Fork is so much fun; if you came to camp Clearwater Crossing

| | Campground is a perfect place to do that.
Around Leo Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Crooked Fork, and Missoula-Days Inn is a brilliant location to get some rest.

the State Line Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Kid Lake, and Leo Lake is right by the Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail. Be careful coming to
Leo Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. The Granite Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best, and don't forget to take a splendid little spree to Frog Creek.
At Leo Lake during the summer months highs are in the 80's,
and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Leo Lake.
