The beauty of Leo Lake is reason enough to stop by. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Bitterroot Range. This is a delightful neighborhood for people who like lakes. Goat Lake is a lake close by, and Shale Mountain is a peak you can catch a sight of from Leo Lake. at the right time of year, Crooked Fork offers some tremendous whitewater. Go for a hike on the Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail; Frog Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to.
