on Clark Fork; River Edge Resort Motel is a great spot to get some rest. All year is a pleasant time in the Bitterroot Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. If the weather is delightful, you acquire a great view of Shale Mountain
from Leo Lake; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the State Line Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous place to camp here at Leo Lake is Clearwater Crossing Campground; if you come at the right time of year, Crooked Fork offers some great whitewater.
