Lemhi Lake is a perfect location to visit for more than one day, Mackay Bar Campground is a perfect location to camp nearby, and going for a hike on the Three Blaze Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Rhett Creek Campground is a nice campground nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Chamberlain Trail. This lake is so wonderful.       Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Salmon River Mountains rules! Hit the slopes at Brundage Mountain in close proximity, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River. Get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Salmon River - South Fork; don't leave Lemhi Lake without first going for a hike along the Center Mountain Trail. Summertime highs at Lemhi Lake generally tend to be in                  the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 30's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lemhi Lake. From a rainfall point of view Lemhi Lake is a relatively normal site; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July.
