For the period of the summer at Lava Butte Lakes temperatures are typically in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and       night lows at Lava Butte Lakes during the wintertime regularly plunge into the 20's. Hershey Point can be observed from Lava Butte Lakes; there's delightful hiking along the Lava Butte Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Salmon River Mountains for a great time. While you're here at Lava Butte Lakes, you could also stop at picturesque Kenneth Lake.
