Beautiful Lamont Reservoir has much to offer visitors. The scenery at Lamont Dam close to Lamont Reservoir is stunning; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LOGAN is a magnificent place to get some rest. It is very arid here at Lamont Reservoir regularly; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. you at Crystal Inn Logan. And that's not all you can do here at Lamont Reservoir. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bloomington Lake Trail; if you're a golfer then a magnificent nearby course is Preston Golf & Country Club.
You'll hit upon a stunning lake called Glendale Reservoir near Lamont Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Lamont Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, High Creek Campground is a brilliant place for that.

Bloomington Lake Trail
 | 14 miles away ...s up Bloomington Canyon on the West Side of the Bear Lake Valley. The canyon road is accessed off of Highway 89 in the community of Bloomington. It is approximately 11 miles to the top of the canyon and parking area. The road is dirt and gravel and suitable for most passenger cars. It is a short trail to the lake where you will be rewarded with a beautiful high mountain lake with high surrounding cliffs. There are many trails the lead off from the canyon and connect to other surrounding canyons. One of the more notable trails is the Highline Trail. This is an approximate 60 mile trail that runs north and south along the ridge line of the mountains. The trail can be accessed at many point including the top of Bloomington Canyon. At the parking area the road continues a bit futher west and the road turns into a trail that leads up to the ridge. Your can travel north or south with the south direction being the most spectacular The Highline Trail is popular with hikers, horses, mountain bikers, ATV's and motorcycles. Bear River
 | 19 miles away We floated the Wayland Hot Springs to the Weston Bridge. You cannot put in downriver from the Highway 91 bridge anymore. However you can cross the highway and park and put in at the Riverside RV and trailer park. They have a boat ramp and a great place to camp. About a half mile above Squaw Hotsprings, a fence has been hung across the river, watch out that you don't snag your head, duck! After that there really is no obstructions until you get to the diverson about 2 miles above the Weston Bridge. Run this right down the middle. This is a great family float and a nice flat part of the river for beginners.... |
