A tremendous place to camp here at Lake San Souci is Albeni Falls Campground; there's some interesting stuff to observe at       Stoneridge Dam in the neighborhood of Lake San Souci. The amount of rain that falls at Lake San Souci is close to the national average; December is the wettest month with most snow; July is the month with the least moisture. Through the warm months highs here at Lake San Souci reach the 80's, and the night is a bit chillier of course, ordinarily in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Lake San Souci dipping down into the                  10's during winter nights. Lake San Souci is in the vicinity of Blanchard Valley which is certainly worth checking out; float down the rapids of Priest River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful.
