If you came to camp Burgdorf Campground is a good location to do that; there's pleasant hiking along the Fall Creek Trail. AmericInn McCall is a great spot to get some rest; don't leave Lake Rock Lake without first going for a hike along the Crestline Trail. Lake Rock Lake is one of the lakes here in the Salmon River Mountains. That right there is a lot already, but it continues; Lake Rock Lake has it all. Good hiking is available along the                  Box Lake Trail, and Diamond Rock is pretty and can be spotted from here. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Salmon River Mountains has to offer. Lake Rock Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Chinook Campground is a great local campground. Lakes? Sure, Anns Lake is in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Lake Rock Lake, for example Summit Lake; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Mccall-The Hunt Lodge, Id is a great choice. Payette River - North Fork has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Josephine Creek is in the vicinity of Lake Rock Lake and is always a delight to pop by.
