It's always fun to stop by Lake Cascade. This lake is so wonderful. Payette River - North Fork is a brilliant whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Lake Cascade. Lakes are fine; Calendar Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Lake Cascade. Lake Cascade is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Water's Edge RV Resort is a wonderful place to camp nearby, and if you need a location to stay Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a fine choice. | | highs here at Lake Cascade get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Cascade temperatures descend to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Payette River - North Fork right next door to Lake Cascade, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Campbell Creek Trail. amusing things to do in the neighborhood of Lake Cascade. Grandmas Creek is a great site to stop by, also Cascade Dam is worth a visit since you're here. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Just can't get enough
of the Salmon River Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Skein Lake; the top of Crown Point is easily seen from Lake Cascade. After a long day outdoors Ashley Inn is a nice site to spend
a night or two; going for a hike along the Willow Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. And that's not everything you can do here in the Salmon River Mountains. Lake Cascade State Park is a great
campground nearby, and do take a hike on the Campbell Trail. Lake Cascade gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; January is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest month is July.
