Lake Cascade is right by the Willow Creek Trail, and Jemima K Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out. All the outdoors cool things close to Lake Cascade will keep you coming back time and again. A great nearby hotel is Mccall Super 8 Lodge, and Lake Cascade is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Water's Edge RV Resort is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Crown       Point can be observed from Lake Cascade, and if you're here, you could also explore striking Tom J Reservoir. If you need a spot to stay Ashley Inn is a perfect choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Payette River - North Fork. The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. So many entertaining things to do in the Salmon River Mountains, not sufficient time. There's perfect hiking along the Campbell                  Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Cascade that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Cascade State Park is a great location for that. Lake Cascade gets a typical amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally January, that's the one that snows the most, and July is when it's the driest. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Salmon River Mountains. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Payette River - North Fork, and there's some flowing water close by, Grandmas Creek is a stream you can pop by while here. The warmest time of the year at Lake Cascade comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Lake Cascade dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
