Knob Lakes is a nice lake to visit. Knob Lakes is generally a rather dried up location; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. On a wonderful day you get a panorama of Gospel Peak from Knob Lakes. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Knob Lakes. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and

| | night lows in the 20's for Knob Lakes.
Camping at Knob Lakes is good fun, Sourdough Saddle Campground is a good local campground, and soar down the rapids of Clearwater River - South Fork in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail near Knob Lakes called the Broken Leg Trail; if you need a spot to stay Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a delightful choice. the Reed Bar Trail, and you're probably into lakes, East Gospel Lake is one of those close by.
Just can't get enough of the Clearwater Mountains. On a great day at Knob Lakes you can take a hike along the Nellie Mountain Trail,
and if you came for an overnight stay Rocky Bluff Campground is a pleasant location to camp. Knob Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Clearwater Mountains.
