All through the summer here at Killarney Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Killarney Lake sink into       the 20's. Going for a hike on the Caribou Ridge National Recreation Trail is always a nice adventure; a gorgeous lake like Medicine Lake is a nice place to stop at. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Killarney Lake rocks! You'll meet a lot of people from Coeur d'Alene here, and there are great spots to explore along the English Point National Recreation Trail. So many enjoyable things to do in the Bitterroot Range, not enough time. If you need                  a spot to stay Red Horse Mountain Ranch is a delightful choice; Killarney Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Wolf Lodge Campground is a great place to camp nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Bitterroot Range. Get dripping wet paddling on St. Maries River, and don't leave Killarney Lake without first going for a hike along the Leiberg-Athol Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Rainy Hill Campground is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is La Quinta Inn AND Suites Coeur D'Alene East, and glide down the rapids of Coeur d'Alene River - Little North Fork in a kayak.
