This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot       Range. Just can't get enough of the Bitterroot Range. Beauty Creek Campground is a good campground here. All through the warmest time of the year, highs typically are in the 80's at Killarney Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Killarney Lake. And that's not all you can do here in the Bitterroot Range. St. Maries River has a good whitewater                  paddling spot nearby, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Leiberg-Athol Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Coeur d'Alene River - Little North Fork is so much fun, and camping at Killarney Lake is splendid fun, Rainy Hill Campground is a splendid local campground. Killarney Lake is a good place of common precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; July on the other hand is the driest. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the neighborhood of Killarney Lake will keep you coming back over and over.
