It is very dried out here at Kid Lake mostly; the wettest month of the year is frequently June, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. Through the warm months at Kid Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Kid Lake. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Crooked Fork, and camping is available at Wendover Campground.
And that's not all the things you can do here in the Bitterroot Range. Dry
warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - St. Regis. Lakes are pleasant; Cedar Log Lakes is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Kid Lake, and do take a hike on the Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
A great place to camp here at Kid Lake is Clearwater Crossing Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Kid Lake; State Line Trail is a wonderful local trail.
