Kid Lake is always a pleasure to visit. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Bitterroot Range. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - St. Regis; a perfect site for whitewater paddling is Clark Fork. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Frog Creek is a stream you can visit during your stay; if you came to camp Clearwater Crossing Campground is a wonderful place to do that. At Kid Lake all

| | through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Kid Lake.
Kid Lake is located in the Bitterroot Range. On a fine day at Kid Lake you can take a hike along the Colgate Licks Nature National Recreation Trail; camping at Wendover Campground is always a great experience. That right there is lots already, but it | |

Get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Crooked Fork; since you're here you can take a hike
along the State Line Trail. Not much rain falls here at Kid Lake; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest.
