While you're here at Kerr Lake you can take a hike along the Danquist Trail. A quick spree to Fisher Creek in close proximity to Kerr Lake is a wonderful idea, and paddling on Boundary Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Jerome Slu are fun to go to, and camping at Kerr Lake is great fun, Brush Lake Campground is a great local campground. Going for a hike along the Hall Mountain Trail will       let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Schweitzer. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Kerr Lake, and the night is quite colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Kerr Lake dip into the 10's. Man, is there lots of cool things to do next to Kerr Lake. On a fine day at Kerr Lake you can take a hike                  along the Hellroaring Ridge Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino. If you came for an overnight stay Blue Lake RV Park is a delightful site to camp; Smith Creek has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby.
