Kerr Lake is a location that is relatively dry frequently; the month with most of the rain is November, and July on the other hand is the driest. If you came for an overnight stay Idyl Acres RV Trailer Park is a splendid site to camp, and you can go for a hike on the Hellroaring Ridge Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Kerr Lake,       and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Kerr Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Kerr Lake is not the only spot close by, Brush Lake is a close by lake. If you come at the right time of year, Boundary Creek offers some magnificent whitewater, and why not camp at Brush Lake Campground while you're here at Kerr Lake. Looking for some flowing water? Try Fisher Creek;                  Best Western Kootenai River Inn Casino & Spa is a great place to get some rest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Smith Creek, and going for a hike on the Hall Mountain Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful.
