Any time is a pleasant time at Kerr Lake if you fancy the outdoors. If you come at the right time of year, Priest River offers some wonderful whitewater, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Hanna Flast Nature Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Kaniksu Resort and Marina is a great campground nearby; a lake close by is Hager Lake. A typical amount       of rain falls here at Kerr Lake; December is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month of the year is July. All through the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Kerr Lake, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's while Kerr Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend                  Priest River, and if you get bored of Kerr Lake you could also check out nearby Reeder Lake. Granite Mountain is scenic and can be spotted from Kerr Lake; why not take a little tour to Fedar Creek since you're here.
