Why not camp at Hazard Campground if you're here at Kenneth Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Salmon River Motel. This spot rules, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do next to Kenneth Lake. Camping at Kenneth Lake is splendid fun, Upper Payette Lake Campground is a splendid local campground, and Kenneth Lake is right by the Crestline Trail. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in       the Salmon River Mountains. Kenneth Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains. Around Kenneth Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. High temperatures at Kenneth Lake all through the long summer days are in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and during the dark hours                  in the wintertime at Kenneth Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. Glide down the rapids of Payette River - North Fork in a kayak, and the Broken Leg Trail offers hiking at its best. That right there is heaps of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Salmon River Mountains has it all. Do stop at Big Hazard Lake near Kenneth Lake, it's a charming lake, and it's a good idea to explore Big Dave Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
