So many cool things to do at Kelly Lake, so little time. The vista of North Pole from Kelly Lake is wonderful, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Pilot Knob Trail. Summertime highs at Kelly Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Kelly Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. It is very waterless here at Kelly Lake usually; May is the

Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Reed Bar Trail; you'll come across a wonderful lake called Crystal Lake. Orogrande Summit Campground is a perfect local campground; whitewater paddling is good on Clearwater River - South Fork. Kelly Lake is one of the lakes here in the Clearwater Mountains.

while you're here, and do go to Wiseboy Lakes, it's a picturesque lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Wildhorse Lake Campground is a glorious location to camp; SUPER 8 MOTEL - GRANGEVILLE is a wonderful place to get some rest.

 | I have been to fish lake numerous times. Follow Buffalo Hump rd from Oregrande summit, down to Lake Creek. There follow Lake Creek trail about 3 miles or less to Fish Lake. This route is Calender Canyon. An easy walk. Not steep. Beautiful scenery, and when you get to Fish Lake, don't be surprised to see Moose. I have seen 6 at a time on the lake. A special place to me, as I and my late wife used to go there.... |
