Kelly Lake is a lake worth visiting. Be careful coming to the Clearwater Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Going for a hike on the Nellie Mountain Trail is always a great adventure, and let's not forget Kelly Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Orogrande Summit Campground is a good campground here, and camping at Kelly Lake is tremendous fun,

| | Wildhorse Lake Campground is a tremendous local campground. Clearwater River - South Fork is a perfect whitewater spot near Kelly Lake; there are good spots to discover along the Pilot Knob Trail.
Kelly Lake is pretty dry frequently; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. The Clearwater Mountains scenery is always beautiful. That right there is plenty of exciting things already but it goes on, | |

Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a splendid place to get some rest, and the peak of North Pole can be spotted from Kelly Lake. During the summer months highs here at Kelly Lake reach the
80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's; overnight lows throughout the winter for Kelly Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably
addicted to lakes, Crystal Lake is one of those nearby; nearby you discover the Reed Bar Trail which is a good hiking trail.
