Josephus Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. An average amount of rainfall falls at Josephus Lake; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Brundage Mountain is just what you need; Marsh Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. A magnificent site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Josephus

| | Lake is Rapid River. There's so much to do here at Josephus Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sheepeater Hot Springs Campground is a wonderful place for that.

All year is a wonderful time in the Salmon River Mountains if you adore the outdoors. While you're here at Josephus Lake, you could also go to stunning Langer Lake, and hiking along the Garden
Creek Trail is delightful fun. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Josephus Lake. Josephus Lake is right by the Blue Bunch Trail, and Mount Mills is clearly visible from Josephus Lake. For the duration of
the long summer days highs here at Josephus Lake reach the 80's, and the night is fairly cooler of course, generally in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; night lows through the winter for Josephus Lake tend to be in the 10's.
