     Josephus Lake is a nice lake to visit. Josephus Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the area next to Josephus Lake has to offer. If the weather is wonderful here at Josephus Lake, you can go for a hike along the Garden Creek Trail; there's whitewater on Marsh Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. An average amount of precipitation falls at Josephus Lake; the wettest month of the year  
   is generally January, that's the one that snows the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
For the period of the months of summer highs here at Josephus Lake reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Josephus Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Josephus Lake you can take a hike along the Blue Bunch Trail, and why not
 
               camp at Sheepeater Hot Springs Campground while you're here at Josephus Lake. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains.
While you're here at Josephus Lake, you could also check out beautiful Lost Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rapid River. Camping at Josephus Lake is glorious fun, Lola Creek Campground is a glorious local campground, and going for a hike along the Bear Valley Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Having a good time in the Salmon River Mountains is uncomplicated. One of the main characteristics of the surroundings of Josephus Lake is Mount Mills, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Brundage Mountain if you're here.
