There is a wonderful hiking trail next to Johnson Reservoir called the High Line Trail, and get wet paddling on Bear River. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Bloomington Lake Trail is always a great adventure, and Lamont Reservoir is a tremendous lake nearby. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Johnson Reservoir. Johnson Reservoir is great enough to spend more       than a day at, High Creek Campground is a great local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LOGAN. At Johnson Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while August is commonly the driest month. There's so much to do here at Johnson Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Cub River Canyon Guest Ranch is a tremendous place for that. If you want to play some golf,                  you're in luck because Preston Golf & Country Club is around here, and if you need a spot to stay Crystal Inn Logan is a brilliant choice. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Johnson Reservoir reach the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Johnson Reservoir.
