Throughout the summer highs here at Johns Reservoir get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Johns Reservoir. Paddling on Camas Creek is so much fun; Dry Wash Dam is gorgeous. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are splendid; Cougar Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity       to Johns Reservoir, and camping is available at Bridge Campground. AmericInn Hailey is a great spot to get some rest, and what would winter be without some skiing at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Float down the rapids of Little Wood River in a kayak, and why not camp at Deer Creek Campground while you're here at Johns Reservoir.
