Go for a hike on the Forty-Four Trail, and get wet paddling on Deep Creek. You'll come across a wonderful lake called Upper John G Reservoir near John G Reservoir. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to John G Reservoir, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at John G Reservoir. At John G Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; during the month

While you're here at John G Reservoir, you could also stop by lovely Pothole Reservoir; nice hiking is available along the Rough Trail. There's great hiking along the Red Trail, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Owyhee River - South Fork. | |
