There's so much to do here at Jewel Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Willowbay RV Park and Marina is a delightful spot for that. The warmest time of the year at Jewel Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime       are regularly in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for Jewel Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Schweitzer is just what you need, and great hiking is available along the Leiberg-Athol Trail. An average amount of rainfall falls at Jewel Lake; December is when you get the most snow here; the driest month of the year is July. At Jewel Lake you always meet someone from Coeur d'Alene, and Jewel Lake is fine enough to spend more than                  a day at, Fox Farm RV Resort is a fine local campground. Cocolalla Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at; hiking is a popular thing to do around Jewel Lake; English Point National Recreation Trail is a good local trail. The Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best.
