Paddling on Priest River is so much fun, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the English Point National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Cocolalla Creek is a tremendous place to visit; La Quinta Inn Sandpoint is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Jewel Lake gets a typical amount of rain; December is when you get the most snow here, and July is the month with the least moisture. If you need a spot to stay Schweitzer Mountain Resort is

| | a nice choice, and the smiling people of Coeur d'Alene like to hang out nearby. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do near Jewel Lake. On a great day at Jewel Lake you can take a hike along the Leiberg-Athol Trail, and Beaver Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. This lake is so wonderful. Jewel Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Fox Farm RV Resort is a tremendous local campground. There's so much to do here at Jewel | |

Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Willowbay RV Park and Marina is a delightful spot for that; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Schweitzer. High temperatures at Jewel Lake during the summertime
months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Jewel Lake tend to be in the 10's. Near Jewel Lake you
discover the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and while you're here, you could also have a look at delightful Lambertson Lake.
