    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Idaho you can check out Jensen Lake. Givens Hot Springs is a tremendous campground nearby. Lakes? Sure, Halverson Lake is in close proximity. Nampa Super 8 Motel is a glorious place to get some rest, and you get a splendid vista of Walters Butte from here. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent close by hotel is Sleep Inn Nampa, and there are other places here than Jensen Lake, for example Hulet-Sinker Creek Reservoir.
 
   At Jensen Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. Through the summer highs here at Jensen Lake get into the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Jensen Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Jensen Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Mason Creek  
               RV Park is a good site to camp nearby; getting to Rabbit Creek from Jensen Lake is easy.
Be careful coming to Jensen Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. Sproat Spring is an inspiring location to stop by during your stay.

Went here on 7/11/09. It's about a 20 minute hike (flat ground) to the lake.  The water was down about 18'' from full.  Weeds in the water up to about 20' from the bank.  Big blue gill were caught. A few small smallmouth.  Fished from the bank.  Would advise taking float tubes for a trip here....
