The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful. Camping is available at Mush Campground, and a scenic lake like Cold Lake is a great place to stop by. Mush Point is right next door to Jack Lake and is a great location to go to; the summit of Bitterroot Range can be spotted from Jack Lake. But wait, there's more to do close to Jack Lake. The Bitterroot Range towers over Jack Lake, and since you're here you can take a       hike along the Shin Point Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Washington Creek Campground if you're here at Jack Lake, and you can run the rapids of Weitas Creek. You absolutely have to fancy the Bitterroot Range. Clearwater River - North Fork is a glorious whitewater spot near Jack Lake, and going for a hike along the Dead Mule Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
