Isaac Lake

Having a great time in the Bitterroot Range is simple. Clearwater National Forest is both glorious and wonderful, and it's in the neighborhood of Isaac Lake, and Warm Springs Trailhead is a good local campground. On Moose Creek nearby you find the 22-mile-from-beginning-to-end Dolph Creek to Selway River sector of type III-IV whitewater. This stretch of Moose Creek is fitting for whitewater boaters who have been paddling for some time but who are not yet prepared
for the genuinely treacherous rapids. Of course, paddling is fun but treacherous; check circumstances prior to departure.
Fox Peak is a peak you can make out from Isaac Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Hoodoo Lake Campground is a great place to camp.
